Global China Technology announces joint venture
with * * * Global China Technology Group ("Global China Technology", HKSE:1105) today announced that it has formed a joint venture GCT InfoHub Ltd. with EC-Founder Co. Ltd ("EC-Founder", HKSE: 0618), a leading provider for advanced information technology products and services in the Mainland China as part of its strategy to become a major multimedia content provider for the Greater China region. The new company is 81% owned by Global China Technology and 19% by EC-Founder. GCT InfoHub specializes in the provision of sophisticated business intelligence with in-depth analysis on the economic development of China from a wide variety of content sources. Riding on a powerful infrastructure and knowledge management platform, data and contents from different sources and in different formats are aggregated, categorized, summarized, syndicated and repackaged for efficient delivery to users. Users are able to access a vast pool of information without having to invest substantial research or technical resources. Target customers include research institutes, universities, enterprises and companies that look for business intelligence and information about the Greater China region.
