PRC Print Media Distribution Services

The Group has joined forces with the People's Daily Press, the most authoritative news organization in the PRC, to form Greater China Media Services Limited ('GCMS'). GCMS specializes in the nation-wide distribution of all print media covering newspapers, magazines and books, across the fields from retail to wholesale, along with the provision of other value-added media services.

GCMS is the first foreign-invested enterprise specially approved by the Central Administration of Press and Publishing in the PRC as a 'Trial Business Unit' as part of the opening up of the media industry. Being granted the right to operate as an independent third-party distributor in the country, GCMS takes the lead in penetrating into the Chinese media service industry that is still largely closed to foreign participation.
